Today, I’m grateful for electricity.
I take it for granted each day that the lights will come on when I flip the switch, that my food will keep in the refrigerator, that my air conditioning and my heat will keep me comfortable. The other day, our lights blinked and the tv & computer turned off unexpectedly. I thought of the people in other parts of the country who’ve lost power for weeks at a time due to storms. And I’m thankful for the convenience that I have.
