Gratitude Spiral: Day 218

Today, I’m grateful for the Carpenters Gold: Greatest Hits album.

On yet another rainy day, sitting at my computer, I decided to open iTunes. Much of the time lately, I prefer quiet, but I needed music yesterday. The first thing I saw was my recent purchase of this album full of old songs. Listening to it lifted my spirits and made life feel a little simpler for a while. 🙂

Gratitude Spiral: Day 165

Today, on this Mother’s Day, I’m grateful for my mother’s sewing cabinet.

It’s too big for my mother to bring to her new apartment, so the cabinet, made by my father in 1970, has a new home in my craft room, next to my sewing machine. I’m thankful for it and for all the use my mother got out of it as she made clothes for her five kids.
