Gratitude Spiral: Day 200

Today, I’m grateful for this milestone: 200 days of practicing gratitude.

Some days I wonder if it really matters whether I publish these posts or not, since it feels like sending words into a silent void. But the purpose of this practice is to create a new habit and attitude for myself. And that is being accomplished. If it’s had the added benefit of helping or challenging anyone else, then I’ll count it as an invisible blessing. (But please feel free to answer the question posed at the end each day 😉 )

What are you grateful for today?

Gratitude Spiral: Day 137

Today, I’m grateful for Easter Sunday, which happens to fall on my parents’ wedding anniversary this year. Two blessings in one day.

I’m blessed to have both of my parents still living, and relatively healthy. And I’m blessed to have been raised in the Catholic faith and to have made it my own as an adult. Easter celebrates the most amazing gift, the most wonderful sign of sacrificial love, and a power that I can barely begin to understand. So, I rest in that incredible gift today, with an attitude of gratitude.

Gratitude Spiral: Day 100

Today, I’m grateful for this 100th day of a new habit.

For 100 days, I’ve been turning my thoughts to gratitude and it’s becoming a true habit. Some days the number of things I’m thankful for is overwhelming. Some days I find myself searching. But the habit of seeking an attitude of gratitude is becoming ingrained. And for that, I’m grateful. 🙂
