Gratitude Spiral: Day 302

Today, I’m grateful for frozen fruit in my morning shake.

Most of the fruit in my shake is fruit I froze myself. Some is from my garden and some is from a friend’s. Freezing it thickens the shake, making a very satisfying breakfast accompaniment to a bowl of steel cut oats. 🙂

Gratitude Spiral: Day 51

Today, I’m grateful for oatmeal. Steel cut oats, actually.

It’s such a simple breakfast—and so satisfying. I cook it ahead of time, so, there it is every morning ready for a quick reheat, a dash of cinnamon, and a bit of chopped apple. Mm-mm! 🙂
