Gratitude Spiral: Day 166

Today, I’m grateful for the gift of Mother’s Day plants delivered by one of my daughters yesterday.

It’s been colder than normal in New England this spring, so I can’t plant them in the ground yet. There’s a threat of frost one night this coming week. But I look forward to adding them to my gardens. 🙂

What are you grateful for today?

Gratitude Spiral: Day 165

Today, on this Mother’s Day, I’m grateful for my mother’s sewing cabinet.

It’s too big for my mother to bring to her new apartment, so the cabinet, made by my father in 1970, has a new home in my craft room, next to my sewing machine. I’m thankful for it and for all the use my mother got out of it as she made clothes for her five kids.
